Brick Repair and Restoration

Brick is an excellent exterior cladding for a home. Rather than being completely impermeable, a brick wall is designed to manage moisture by absorbing and releasing water through the masonry. For that reason, proper construction and maintenance are essential to the long-term performance of a brick wall.

When repairing brickwork, we pay particular attention to matching the original brick and mortar. The replacement materials need to be compatible with the existing masonry, while new bricks must be properly set and woven into the surrounding wall. This attention to detail helps the repair blend naturally with the original construction.

Careful Removal and Rebuilding

Some masonry repairs require bricks, arches or mortar to be removed before the damaged area can be rebuilt. Using precision tools and specialized techniques, our masons carefully remove existing materials while minimizing shifting, cracking and collateral damage.

The bricks under our bay window were losing their veneer, and were actually crumbling. Who knew that the base bricks were so soft and prone to disintegrating (22 years). Stonehenge Masonry to the rescue. In 2 days Tim and Ryan transformed this mess into a thing of beauty. They were VERY professional and a credit to their profession. Highly recommended (and the cost was very reasonable).

I had a great experience with Stonhenge Masonry. Their work was outstanding and their price was reasaonnable. Dan, the owner, really impressed me. He gave me creative options to renovate my porch and meet my needs within my budget. He and Dereck did a really good job. The porch was in dire need if repair and now looks great! Kirsha, the office manager, represents the company so well. She is efficient, attentive, customer oriented and great to deal with. No wonder this company currently get a 4.9 average. I gave them a well deserved 5 which is rare for anyone.
