At Stonehenge Masonry, we specialize in both new stone construction and the repair and restoration of existing stonework. Stone Repair and Restoration

Over time, even well-built stonework can deteriorate because of water, weather, movement and the natural aging of mortar. Fortunately, damaged stone does not always need to be completely rebuilt. In many cases, careful repointing, repair or replacement can restore the structure while preserving its original character.

We repair and restore existing stone foundations, arches, stairs, walls and other masonry features. Whenever possible, our masons match the existing stone and mortar so that repairs blend naturally with the surrounding work.

Custom Stone Stairs and Walkways

Stone is an excellent choice for exterior stairs, walkways and entranceways because it combines durability with a natural appearance. We build stone stairs using hand-cut stone blocks for the risers and outer walls, with options such as classic flagstone, square-cut flatwork or large-format stone for treads and landings.

In addition, existing concrete stairs and walkways can often be refaced with natural stone. This approach can give an older or worn surface an entirely new appearance without completely rebuilding the underlying structure.

The bricks under our bay window were losing their veneer, and were actually crumbling. Who knew that the base bricks were so soft and prone to disintegrating (22 years). Stonehenge Masonry to the rescue. In 2 days Tim and Ryan transformed this mess into a thing of beauty. They were VERY professional and a credit to their profession. Highly recommended (and the cost was very reasonable).

I had a great experience with Stonhenge Masonry. Their work was outstanding and their price was reasaonnable. Dan, the owner, really impressed me. He gave me creative options to renovate my porch and meet my needs within my budget. He and Dereck did a really good job. The porch was in dire need if repair and now looks great! Kirsha, the office manager, represents the company so well. She is efficient, attentive, customer oriented and great to deal with. No wonder this company currently get a 4.9 average. I gave them a well deserved 5 which is rare for anyone.
